A gorgeous sunset entertained and enthralled the four board members who were unaware of what awaited them.

Just as the sun sent its last rays to the western horizon a frightening sight appeared.  Was it a planet out of orbit?  Or a star gone super nova. Or perhaps a visitor from a galaxy far, far away. Many believe we will never know the truth.  

An apparition in a beautiful fur hat floated in the sky as if suspended by the clouds.  The phantom’s face was set in a ghastly grimace. The beast seemed to be evil itself.

The doppelganger disappeared as mysteriously as it had appeared, but the shaken vista viewers were driven to imbibe alcoholic sedatives in quantity to calm their nerves.  

Little is known of the four former board members and even less of their frightening apparition, that many call “The Devil King of High Knob Vista”. Legend has it that anyone foolish enough to look directly at the “Devil King” will experience a plague of beer locusts firsthand.
